Enrique Majos

With more than 23 years of experience in the financial industry, Enrique Majos is the CEO of Gentera, and former Chairman of the Microfinance Network (2015-2017). With a broad experience in financial inclusion, he joined Gentera-Compartamos in 2004. Prior to his current position, he has been CEO of Banco Compartamos, CEO of Gentera’s Financial Services, and CEO of Gentera’s Financial Inclusion Innovation Lab, FIINLAB. Before joining Gentera, he worked for Citibank in the Consumer Banking Division (1995-2004).

Enrique Majos has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Universidad Panamericana and an MBA from IPADE Business School, including an exchange program at University of Southern California (USC). He has been speaker at North Western University, New York University, Columbia University, Wharton University, Instituto Tecnologico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and EGADE Business School. Additionally, he has participated in several executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School, Kellogg University, and The Boulder Institute of Microfinance.
